Molybdenum Rhenium Rod

Molybdenum Rod Picture

Molybdenum rhenium rod is made of molybdenum and rhenium powder. Molybdenum-Rhenium, commonly known as Molybdenum-Rhenium (Mo-Re), is used extensively in industries as diverse medicine, defense, pure research and production welding. Thanks to its excellent thermal and mechanical properties, this material is a less costly alternative to pure rhenium. As to molybdenum rhenium rod, they are widely used in heating elements, temperature thermal couple, cathode of valve and other high temperature using parts.

Molybdenum and rhenium are usually available in three standards: Mo-Re 41%, Mo-Re 44.5% and Mo-Re 47.5%. Of course, they can be composites with different proportion. Then the powder should be sized by the FSSS (Fisher Standard Sieve Size) measurement method.

Therefore, the property of rhenium should be noticed.
